Hiring: Forensic ACT Team Leader Company: Upstate Cerebral Palsy Location: Utica, NY Job Posted Time: 2026-09-10 11:13:37 Target Skills & Keywords : Clinical Documentation, Regulatory Compliance About the job Required Skills: •Manage the daily operations of the Forensic ACT team, ensuring adherence to the ACT model and fidelity to program guidelines. •Provide direct supervision to a multidisciplinary team (excluding the FACT psychiatric provider), including clinicians, nurses, peer specialists, and other staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment. •Ensure the provision of person-centered, recovery-oriented services that address the unique needs of individuals with SMI and criminal justice involvement, including mental health treatment, substance use services, vocational support, and community integration •Establish and maintain effective partnerships with criminal justice entities, housing providers, healthcare organizations, and other community resources to support comprehensive care and successful community reintegration. •Establish and maintain effective partnerships with a variety of community entities and engage in community outreach to increase awareness and understanding of the FACT program to promote submission of appropriate referrals. •Utilize data-driven approaches to monitor program outcomes, implement continuous quality improvement initiatives, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. •Coordinate ongoing training for team members to enhance competencies in areas such as trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing, and forensic mental health practices. •Carries an assigned caseload and serves as the primary therapist to that caseload. Role functions with at least 50% of scheduled work time to require client-facing activities. Qualifications: •Master's degree or higher in social work, psychology, rehabilitation counseling, or a related field, OR licensure/registration as a RN (RNs are encouraged to be master’s level or nurse practitioner), or physician. •Preference will be given to individuals with experience on a multi-disciplinary mobile team. •Minimum of five years of experience in mental health services, with at least two years in a supervisory or leadership role is preferred.
