Hiring: Food Safety & Quality Technician Company: Ocean Spray Cranberries Location: Aberdeen, WA Job Posted Time: 2026-09-12 11:24:36 About the job Experience: •At least 1 Year of Experience Required Skills: •Provide quality testing, analysis and review to ensure that production quality and schedule standards are being achieved. •Train and support manufacturing personnel in quality systems to maximize product quality. •Initiate problem-solving activities relating to quality parameter issues •Actively facilitate and support continuous training, record keeping and maintenance of the food safety and quality practices within the plant. •Act as point of contact and through professional judgment and evaluation, suggest resolution to food safety and quality concerns in the absence of the Quality Manager •Support and promote food safety and quality program indicatives within the plant environment •Calibrate, troubleshoot, maintain, and operate all lab equipment •Follow all safety policies and procedures, including laboratory safety and chemical handling Qualifications: •High School Diploma or GED required. •Bachelor's Degree or Associates Degree in Food Science or related field preferred. •1 - 3 years prior production/manufacturing experience OR 2+ years relevant lab technician experience. •Food/beverage industry experience a plus. •Requires good mathematical ability to perform quality related calculations, good analytical skills, and effective interpersonal communication skills to work constructively in a team environment. •Requires good computer, Word processing, and email skills. •Must be detail oriented and have the ability to meet deadlines and accomplish tasks accurately while working under pressure. •Demonstrated capacity to recognize trends, situations and risks to product quality or food safety, and to timely and properly communicate those findings •Bachelor's or University Degree (Preferred) Compensation: •$46,900 - $64,460 / year •Competitive benefits and rewards package •Health, Dental and Vision insurance Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
