The position is responsible for helping ensure that leads follow established procedures, complete assigned work, manage their teams effectively, and submit required production reports accurately and on time. •Supervise the daily activities of foam department leads and production employees. •Communicate daily production priorities, work orders, deadlines, and staffing needs to department leads. •Follow up throughout the shift to confirm assigned work is progressing according to schedule. •Ensure production orders are completed fully and accurately before moving to the next department or process. •Confirm foam cutting lists, production paperwork, labels, quantities, and job information are accurate. •Enforce approved foam production procedures and company policies consistently. •Monitor employee attendance, start times, breaks, meal periods, and scheduled hours. Qualifications: •Previous supervisory or lead experience in foam fabrication, furniture manufacturing, or a related production environment is preferred. •In-depth knowledge of production workflow, employee supervision, and daily reporting. •Demonstrated capacity to hold leads and employees accountable in a fair and consistent manner. •Strong organizational, communication, follow-up, and problem-solving skills. •Demonstrated capacity to read and understand production orders, measurements, schedules, and reports. •Demonstrated capacity to work directly on the production floor and remain engaged throughout the shift. •Must be dependable, professional, and able to communicate effectively with employees, leads, and management while following established procedures and management direction. •Physical and Work Environment Requirements •Demonstrated capacity to spend extended periods standing and walking throughout a manufacturing/production environment. •Demonstrated capacity to move throughout production and staging areas and work around manufacturing equipment, materials, noise, and normal production-floor conditions.
