Work is varied and complex. Assignments are broad in nature, usually requiring originality and ingenuity. Required Skills: •Assure compliance with Food Group, Corporate and governmental accounting regulations and policies by developing, directing and implementing programs and systems in accordance with company policies. •Develops and maintains processes and procedures to ensure operational reports, financial reports and other analytical information and systems are accurate, timely and informative. •Works closely with Fleet management in the development of financial budgets and forecasts. •Performs accounting activities, including the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts for the Fleet. •Lead and oversee the preparation and analysis of cost reports. •Examines and reviews unusual cost records and ensures cost data is allocated correctly across multiple systems. •Manages a small team of Accounting Assistance that supports carrier payments and billing functions. •This hybrid role requires a regular presence at both the Boise Headquarters and Fleet Transportation offices, typically consisting of three days in Boise and two days in Caldwell, with flexibility based on operational needs.
