Required Skills: •Lead all fixed asset accounting activities, including additions, disposals, depreciation, and construction-in-progress accounting. •Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and period-end reporting. •Partner cross-functionally to establish and improve fixed asset policies, processes, and best practices. •Maintain SOX-compliant controls and support internal and external audits. •Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting activities. •Develop, mentor, and manage a team of four accounting professionals. Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA preferred. •7+ years of progressive accounting experience. •2-3+ years of people management experience. •Strong knowledge of US GAAP, fixed asset accounting, and internal controls. •Experience managing high-volume fixed asset portfolios ($1B+ preferred). •Advanced Excel skills and ERP experience required. •SEC reporting experience is a plus. •Retail, grocery, or restaurant industry experience preferred. •Ideal candidate: •A detail-oriented, hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can balance day-to-day execution with process improvement and team development.
