Required Skills: •Conduct detailed firmware analysis using tools to ensure system integrity and reliability. •Demonstrable practical experience with FPGA tools & technologies. •Perform static firmware analysis, design and verification including requirements capture, simulation, code coverage, synthesis, place & route, and timing analysis. •Identify, document, and report vulnerabilities within firmware systems, providing actionable recommendations for resolution. •Partner cross-functionally with development teams to ensure firmware meets performance, functionality, and compliance standards. •Provide technical support for firmware validation and testing efforts. •Maintain thorough documentation of firmware analysis processes, findings, and recommendations. •Stay up to date with emerging firmware analysis techniques and tools, actively suggesting improvements. Qualifications: •Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience. •In-depth knowledge of static firmware analysis, Clock Domain Crossing (CDC), and Reset Domain Crossing (RDC). •Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. •Demonstrated capacity to collaborate effectively with development teams and communicate technical findings clearly. •Operational familiarity with industry standards for firmware development and validation. •Master’s degree preferred. •Proven skills in firmware analysis tools, including Questa and Questa Inspect. •Knowledge of advanced firmware analysis techniques and methodologies. •Operational familiarity with risk assessment and mitigation strategies for firmware vulnerabilities.
