Hiring: Financial Manager Company: CapRadio Location: Sacramento, CA Job Posted Time: 2026-09-03 14:32:39 Employment Type: Hybrid Target Skills & Keywords : Risk Management About the job Experience: •3 years of progressively responsible experience in accounting, finance, budgeting, including experience supporting organizational leadership with strategic financial recommendations Required Skills: •CapRadio is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and an auxiliary of California State University, Sacramento (CSUS). •If this sounds like you, then you should apply for CapRadio’s Financial Manager role! •Maintain oversight of general ledger activity and financial reporting performed by university partners, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and alignment with organizational needs •Review and approve financial documents, reports, sales commission and payroll entries. •Develop forecasts and analyze financial reports and key metrics to assess organizational performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions •Prepare and present financial reports, insights, and recommendations to the President and General Manager, executive leadership team, and Board of Directors in collaboration with CSUS Accounting Services •Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency •Lead development of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field •Minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible experience in accounting, finance, budgeting, including experience supporting organizational leadership with strategic financial recommendations •In-depth knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, internal controls, and financial analysis •Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), financial compliance requirements, and audit coordination practices •Demonstrated capacity to develop collaborative working relationships across departments and with external service providers, including university financial and administrative partners •Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through •Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present financial information clearly to leadership, managers, and board members •Demonstrated discretion in handling confidential and sensitive financial and organizational information •CapRadio requires employment and education verification of new hires. •This position is primary on-site in Sacramento. Hybrid arrangements are available.
