Interacts with plant and corporate personnel to analyze and present data required to make sound business decisions. Backs up Finance Manager when Finance Manager is unavailable. REPORTS TO Directly to the Finance Manager •Helps to coordinate, administer and maintain financial controls. This encompasses both company internal financial controls and SOX controls. •Assists Finance Manager managing and maintaining standard cost input process for material, labor and overhead and cost roll changes updated in production. •Prepare standard and miscellaneous journal entries for monthly accounting close. •Prepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations. •Interface directly with inventory manager to ensure accurate accounting for materials transactions and valuing of inventory. •Coordinate with the materials department during physical inventories and prepare reconciliation of the perpetual inventory to the general ledger. •Partner cross-functionally with other teams to provide accounting and reporting guidance on all financial transactions.
