Hiring: Field Technician, DAS Company: Groove Technology Solutions Location: Salt Lake City, UT Job Posted Time: 2026-09-03 14:45:48 Employment Type: On-site About the job Experience: •2+ years of experience in DAS, RF, wireless, or low-voltage field installation roles Required Skills: •Install, configure, and maintain DAS components including antennas, coax/fiber cabling, headend equipment, and supporting infrastructure •Perform site surveys, signal grid testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal system performance •Diagnose and resolve RF, connectivity and hardware issues in the field •Read and interpret construction drawings, RF designs, and technical documentation •Accurately document work performed, test results, and as-built changes in company systems •Interact directly with customers onsite, providing updates and explaining technical work in a clear, professional manner •Partner cross-functionally with Project Managers, Network Engineers, and other Field Technicians to complete installations on time and within scope •Maintain professionalism, safety awareness and empathy in all customer communications Qualifications: •Operational familiarity with tools such as spectrum analyzers, RF testers, cable testers and standard hand/power tools •Strong written and verbal communication skills •Demonstrated capacity to troubleshoot technical issues independently and escalate when appropriate •Comfortable working in active construction sites, hotels, rooftops, and confined spaces •Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally within the Salt Lake City area •Certifications such as iBwave, CommScope, Corning, or OSHA-10/30 •Operational familiarity with hospitality environments, new construction projects, or large commercial deployments •Why You’ll Love It Here •Brand-new office in Midvale, stocked kitchen, onsite gym & Peloton •Wellness perks including an onsite masseuse and mental health support Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
