Familiar with safety standards, especially those related to electrical work (OSHA & NFPA, 70E) •Three-phase systems, uninterruptible power systems (UPS), electrical generation and distribution systems, power electronics, automatic transfer switches, and microprocessorbased control platforms •Able to read and interpret electrical single line diagrams and blueprints •Mechanical system aptitude, to include troubleshooting/repair skills Required Skills: •Diagnose, maintain and troubleshoot Bloom Energy Servers at customer site(s) •Utilize extensive product and industry knowledge to offer technical support to customers, perform fuel cell system maintenance, perform site upkeep, adhere to safety protocols, and perform issue resolution. •Possess a comprehensive understanding of diverse electrical and mechanical systems, enabling effective troubleshooting and problem-solving. •Follow company procedures and protocols, comprehend and follow customer access requirements •Cooperate with a technical team and share information across the organization •Comprehend and follow customer access requirements •Maintain service vehicle and spare part inventory •Produce timely and detailed service reports as required Qualifications: •Demonstrated capacity to work at heights with appropriate PPE •Able to each, squat, bend, and twist during the workday •Able to use a ladder or step stool regularly •Demonstrated capacity to work entirely in outdoor weather conditions •Training on-site in San Jose, CA at Headquarters, 1 week onsite and then a follow-on training session approximately two months later (in San Jose, CA at Headquarters). •High school diploma & 6 years’ experience in electrical, process controls, or electro-mechanical fields •Technical diploma, Journeymen Certification, Electrician Certification in a technical field and relevant industry experience of 4 years •5 years or more relevant experience in commercial electrical, combined with electrical-related military experience (e.g. Navy Nuclear Electronics/Electrical Technician, or other technical position, military certified electrician or technician, Gas Turbine Electrician) Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
