This role performs a variety of production, cleaning, assembly, and processing tasks while following standardized work instructions, quality requirements, and safe work practices. •At Chromalloy, your work directly supports aviation safety and reliability •. Our teams repair and manufacture critical aerospace components used across the global aviation industry. What you do here has real-world impact—every day. •Cross-train and perform production operations across multiple manufacturing areas. •Use hand tools, power tools, machinery, and shop equipment to prepare, clean, process, repair, and assemble aerospace components. •Follow work instructions and procedures to cut, shape, bond, form, inject, cure, trim, drill, and repair composite and metal parts. •Perform chemical cleaning and surface preparation processes. •Conduct hand cleaning operations including acid etch, sanding, blending, and deburring. Qualifications: •Autobody, mechanical, assembly, or industrial repair experience. •Manufacturing environment with exposure to industrial equipment, chemicals, machinery, and production processes. •Regular standing, walking, lifting, reaching, bending, and repetitive hand movements throughout the shift. •Demonstrated capacity to lift up to 25 lbs from floor to waist and from waist to shoulder level. •Demonstrated capacity to pull up to 40 lbs. •Required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all safety requirements. •This position may require work hours outside of the regularly scheduled hours to meet operational needs. This may include work during evenings, weekends, and/or holidays. Additional work hours are assigned based on business requirements.
