Required Skills: •At the VHA we work closely with local governments and other community partners throughout Clark County to address issues of affordable housing and homelessness and help families break the cycle of poverty. We provide affordable housing and housing assistance to low-income residents in Clark County. •Lead, mentor, and develop staff through coaching, performance management, and professional growth opportunities. •Oversee daily operations of the FSS Program, ensuring consistent and effective support for participants. •Monitor caseloads, service plans, documentation, and outcomes to ensure program goals are met or exceeded. •Build and maintain strong partnerships within the VHA and externally with school, employers, and community organizations to expand opportunities for participants. •Organize and facilitate quarterly Program Coordinating Committee (PCC) to align local resources and strengthen collaboration. •Manage program data and complete required reporting to VHA leadership. •Carry a caseload to support program operations and remain connected to participant needs. Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree in social work or human services/Behavioral Sciences field or equivalent and at least 5 years related experience required. •Human Services program supervision experience preferred including grant management. •Demonstrated experience working with low-income adults preferably in: information and referral, self-sufficiency programs, and/or service coordination. •Successful experience producing outreach and informational materials for a range of literacy levels. •A cover letter and resume are required when applying for this position. •For more information on the Vancouver Housing Authority please visit our website at www.vhausa.com.
