Required Skills: •Working collaboratively with other Faculty Affairs team members, this position provides operational support across the full faculty lifecycle and serves as a shared resource for faculty recruitment, appointments, reviews, promotions, and faculty data management. •Learn more about the great benefits of working for University of Utah: benefits.utah.edu •The department may choose to hire at any of the below job levels and associated pay rates based on their business need and budget. •Operations Program Manager, II •Working Title: Faculty Affairs Program Manager •Prepare required documentation, Chair letters, faculty appointment files, and electronic voting materials. •Coordinate emeritus faculty requests in accordance with University and School of Medicine guidelines. •Serve as departmental liaison to Faculty Administration, Human Resources, Mission Based Management and other University partners regarding faculty onboarding, credentialing, and enrollment activities; monitor process status and communicate updates to faculty, divisions, and leadership. Qualifications: •Knowledge of faculty appointment, review, promotion, tenure, and reappointment processes, preferably within the University of Utah School of Medicine. •Exceptional attention to detail to identify discrepancies, analyze data and follow complex protocols. •Demonstrated ability to interpret, apply, and communicate institutional policies, procedures, and guidelines. •Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. •Demonstrated ability to analyze information and coordinate complex processes involving multiple stakeholders while maintaining accuracy, professionalism, and confidentiality.
