Hiring: Facility Helper Company: NBCUniversal Location: Glendale, CA Job Posted Time: 2026-09-12 10:46:48 Employment Type: Full-time / On-site Target Skills & Keywords : Epic Systems, Microsoft Office About the job Experience: •1+ years of facilities experience or related trades experience Required Skills: •NBCUniversal is looking for a Facility Helper! •Managing lighting inventory, including changing light bulbs and ballast replacement •Perform general plumbing repairs and maintenance, including clearing floor and roof drains, gutters, fixtures, and toilets •Support Engineers as needed with filter replacement, coil cleaning and condensate line clearing •Minor door and lock repairs •Perform interior & exterior painting, staining and general carpentry tasks as needed •Minor repairs to flooring and furniture as needed •General office services tasks, including moving and/or building of furniture Qualifications: •Cool Under Pressure – You handle stressful situations with ease and professionalism while juggling multiple stakeholders and competing priorities •Communicates with ease – You have a way with words; written and verbal •Tech-savvy – You are an MS Office whiz and can take on new software with ease •High school diploma, GED, or equivalent •Valid state Class C driver’s license •Demonstrated proficiency with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building automation systems (BAS) •This position is required to be performed full-time from an NBCUniversal-designated worksite. •Demonstrated capacity to work flexible hours and travel as needed •This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
