Required Skills: •Conduct scheduled facility rounds and record operating conditions, equipment status, alarms, readings, abnormalities, and required follow-up actions. •Monitor BMS, EPMS, DCIM, and other facility-monitoring platforms; investigate routine and moderately complex abnormal conditions and escalate issues in accordance with incident procedures. •Operate and maintain assigned electrical, mechanical, cooling, fire/life-safety, building-automation, and facility-support systems in accordance with approved procedures and qualifications. •Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, inspections, equipment testing, minor repairs, and post-maintenance verification while protecting customer operations and system redundancy. •Respond to incidents, alarms, emergency events, equipment failures, and loss-of-redundancy conditions; perform initial troubleshooting, stabilize conditions when authorized, and promptly escalate as required. •Execute approved MOPs, SOPs, EOPs, switching procedures, maintenance scripts, and other controlled operational documents; provide feedback for document updates. •Maintain working knowledge of assigned facility systems and serve as the day-to-day point of contact for equipment records, procedures, spare parts, maintenance history, and open issues. •Identify equipment deficiencies, capacity constraints, procedural gaps, and operational risks; communicate findings and recommended follow-up to the appropriate technical leader. Qualifications: •High school diploma or equivalent. •Three or more years of experience in data-center operations, critical facilities, industrial facilities, commercial building operations, hospitals, utilities, military facilities, skilled trades, or another mission-critical environment; equivalent technical education or military training may be considered. •Demonstrated experience operating, inspecting, maintaining, or troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, HVAC, controls, or life-safety systems. •Demonstrated capacity to work independently on routine and moderately complex tasks while recognizing when to seek assistance or escalate risk. •Demonstrated capacity to read and apply electrical one-lines, mechanical drawings, control diagrams, equipment manuals, and sequences of operation with appropriate guidance. •Demonstrated capacity to work assigned shifts, weekends, holidays, on-call rotations, and emergency events as required by site operations. •Demonstrated capacity to use CMMS, BMS, EPMS, DCIM, or similar operational systems and maintain accurate technical records. •Associate degree, technical degree, military training, trade-school certification, or equivalent practical experience. •Advanced experience with UPS systems, generators, switchgear, ATS equipment, PDUs, RPPs, chillers, CRAH/CRAC units, pumps, motors, and building controls. •NFPA 70E, OSHA, EPA 608, OEM, electrical, HVAC, controls, or stationary-engine certifications, as applicable to the assigned site.
