Required Skills: •Performs routine inspections and repairs of exterior/interior facilities to include roofs, ceilings, walls, floors and fixtures. •Performs carpentry and painting repairs; performs plumbing and minor electrical repairs; light concrete placement and repair; HVAC maintenance and repairs. •Performs routine inspections and preventative maintenance tasks to include HVAC, generators, cranes, corrosion control, grounding systems and lightning protection systems. •Maintains outdoor grounds and parking lots to be clean and free of debris. •Coordinates and works with other vendors or contractors on larger multi-trade projects. •Performs assembly and/or moving of furniture, racks, or other site equipment. •Creates and/or completes maintenance work tickets providing the actions and procedures carried out to complete tasks. •Provides general support during launch campaigns and launch day efforts. Qualifications: •High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. •Basic computer skills including Microsoft Suite. •Demonstrated capacity to lift and manipulate 50 pounds. •Demonstrated capacity to observe safety and security procedures and to comply with policies. •Demonstrated capacity to follow schedules and keep commitments. •Demonstrated capacity to operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts. •Must be able to manage time efficiently and to work individually as well as within a team. •Possess a valid “Real ID” driver’s license, and clean driving record. •Demonstrated capacity to pass Space Force background checks for Vandenberg SFB, CA •Detailed knowledge in one or more of the following trades: electrical, plumbing, HVAC and refrigeration, concrete, or framing.
