Keeps management informed on progress and delays of all preventive maintenance work orders, related jobs, and other repair activities to help assist with efficient and adequate utilization of staff and resources. •Ensures timely completion of properly authorized work orders in a cost effective manner. •Responds to client questions on contracted maintenance activities and decisions in resolving problems in a professional and timely manner. •Interacts courteously with the client staff, vendors and public; maintains effective working relationships with other staff; cooperates with and follows directions of Supervisor to effectively meet departmental and client objectives. •Participates in safety training and meetings and uses safe working practices at all times. •Responds to emergencies as requested and may coordinate after-hours work activities and repairs. •Inspects completed work for conformance with requirements of local building and safety codes.
