Hiring: Facilities Specialist Company: Ensono Location: Kings Mountain, NC Job Posted Time: 2026-09-11 11:59:43 Employment Type: Full-time Target Skills & Keywords : Airflow, Change Management About the job Experience: •3+ years of experience in data center facilities management or critical infrastructure operations •3 years of hands-on experience in data center operations or critical facilities management •Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in data center operations or critical facilities management Required Skills: •Operate and manage critical equipment for routine and emergency services, including HVAC, plumbing, chillers, and fire detection systems •Monitor and maintain optimal environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, airflow) to protect equipment and ensure continuous uptime •Conduct regular inspections of critical infrastructure including electrical systems, UPS, generators, PDUs, and fire suppression systems •Coordinate equipment installations, moves, adds, and changes (IMACs) within the data center environment •Manage cable infrastructure and maintain organized cable management practices •Respond to facility-related alerts and incidents with urgency to minimize service impact and maintain SLA commitments •Perform routine maintenance on raised floors, hot/cold aisle containment systems, and rack infrastructure •Coordinate with vendors and contractors for data center maintenance, repair services, and capital projects Qualifications: •Data Center Certified Associate (DCCA) or Certified Data Centre Professional (CDCP) certification •Knowledge of DCIM (Data Center Infrastructure Management) tools •Electrical or HVAC technical certifications •Operational familiarity with physical security systems and access control in data center environments •We are a client-facing business, but we do encourage clients to allow us to work remotely most of the time so if you are not required to be on a client site, you can choose to work from home or in our Ensono offices. •Eligibility for dental, vision, short and long-term disability, life and AD&D coverage, and flexible spending accounts •Family Forming Benefit including fertility coverage and adoption/surrogacy reimbursement Compensation: •$44,000 - $63,000 / year •Flexible work environment (work from home / hybrid options) Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
