This individual will work autonomously under the direction of the Facilities Supervisor and must work well in a team environment. This individual must work well with other trades, Facilities personnel, and always keep in mind our goal is to support Manufacturing, Production, and all internal personnel. •0-2 years of previous experience required. Previous trade or mechanical work experience preferred. •2 years of experience. This individual will work autonomously under the direction of the Facilities Supervisor and must work well in a team environment. This individual must work well with other trades, Facilities personnel, and always keep in mind our goal is to support Manufacturing, Production, and all internal personnel. •2 years of previous experience required. Previous trade or mechanical work experience preferred. Required Skills: •Conduct physical inspections of the facility, grounds, premises, common areas, restrooms, mechanical spaces, etc. •Aid in manufacturing production equipment repairs. Initiate repairs when recognized and perform overall inspection of the work completed. •Interpret schematic diagrams to identify repair components and to correct malfunctions and abnormalities. •Assess and determine proper welding methods when required along with an ability to weld ferrous and non-ferrous metals. •Prioritize work orders, handling urgent requests. •Perform preventive maintenance and inspection of assigned equipment in accordance with maintenance schedule and factory specifications. Report findings and take appropriate actions for repair. •Supervise outside contractors and tradespersons. Report and issues with contractors with Supervisor. •Help in other parts of the team regularly, work with and relay information to other departments regularly.
