Required Skills: •Ensure adherence to applicable safety and regulatory requirements as well as site policies for mechanical design and maintenance •Establish cleanroom work practices and enable optimized cleanroom construction activities •Evaluate and improve existing equipment to maintain required capacity, capability and cost of ownership •Analyze failures and develop improvement plans to support >99.9% facility uptime •Lead in implementation of data projects such as statistical process control to improve maintainability, availability and proactive detection of failures •Identify and drive short-term systematic hardware upgrades and improvements leading to safe, stable, and reliable system operation •Plan and develop long-term strategies including capital improvement plans in consultation with facility management •Provide design and mechanical engineering support on projects including review and approval of outsourced designs that support the facility Qualifications: •Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering •Exhibit top-tier diagnostic capabilities, especially in troubleshooting equipment malfunctions. •Demonstrate exceptional communication skills, aptitude to work cohesively in teams, and lead projects when necessary •Showcase a proactive mindset towards identifying potential equipment challenges and responding to emerging issues •Expertise to communicate tactical concepts across a wide range of employees from engineering peers to operational technicians and management.
