Hiring: Facilities Maintenance Technician Company: NAES Location: Sparks, NV Job Posted Time: 2026-09-11 15:14:24 Target Skills & Keywords : SAP, Spark About the job Required Skills: •High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant technical training, industrial experience, or military experience is preferred. •Minimum two years of warehouse, storeroom, or inventory experience, including receiving, storage, inventory control, shipping, and distribution of parts and materials. •SAP experience is strongly preferred; experience with CMMS platforms such as Tractian or MP2, ERP systems, or similar systems supporting inventory, materials, purchasing, or maintenance activities is also beneficial. •Applied hands-on capability in general facility or industrial maintenance, including basic plumbing, painting, carpentry, HVAC support, and routine repairs, is preferred. •Mechanical aptitude with the ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and basic maintenance equipment for routine repairs and facility upkeep. •Forklift experience with the ability to obtain and maintain required forklift certification. •Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills with the ability to effectively prioritize warehouse, inventory, facility, and maintenance needs. •Must possess a valid, unrestricted U.S. driver’s license and ensure it remains in good standing at all times. Qualifications: •Physical requirements include standing for extended periods of time, climbing stairs and ladders, working from elevated platforms and walkways at varying heights, and routinely lifting up to 50 pounds. •Power plant environment that may involve entering confined spaces, crawling through narrow areas, and handling hazardous materials, with exposure to fumes, extreme temperatures, and noise. Work may include high heat near equipment and varying outdoor weather conditions. •All personnel will participate in the Fitness for Duty Program, which includes a post-offer physical examination, drug screening, and post-employment random drug screening. •The Facilities Maintenance Technician works a standard Monday to Friday day shift schedule. This position will require extended hours, flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed to support plant operations and business needs and may also require callout availability. Depending on the position, on-call status may or may not apply.
