Required Skills: •Maintains a clean, orderly, and safe workplace, and performs all work in a safe manner. •Maintains calibration of measurement systems as required by the CMMS PM scheduling system and maintains calibration logs for all measurement devices. •Tracks, trends, and monitors operations of Instrumentation systems, providing weekly/monthly reports and trends. •Monitors network traffic to proactively identify and troubleshoot communication issues. •Works closely with the System Engineer to ensure control loops are tuned to meet specifications and formulates technical solutions for potential or existing system problems. •Provides maintenance and operations support of PLC/SCADA and DDC automation systems, maintaining backup databases for all logic. •Responds rapidly to Instrumentation issues in the field to support continuous, 24/7 factory operations. •Additional duties based on business needs, including ERT. Qualifications: •High School Diploma. •Associate’s degree in an Electrical/Electronic program, or successful completion of an accredited I&C apprenticeship/technical training program is preferred. •5 or more years of I&C experience in an industrial environment; semiconductor manufacturing experience is highly preferred. •ISA Certified Control Systems Technician (CCST) certification is a plus. •Solid functional working knowledge of computer applications including Word, Excel, and CMMS Programs. •May spend extended hours working inside and outside in all weather conditions, and in awkward body positions which can cause physical discomfort and strain. •May be required to lift up to 50 lbs and to adjust heavy objects. •The position will foreseeably come in contact with sharp, hot, and cold equipment, and parts. •Must be medically qualified to wear a personal respirator and other PPE. •Sensory demands include exposure to the smells associated with industrial chemical operations, exposure to the sounds associated with powered tools and industrial equipment.
