Hiring: Facilities Electrical Technician Company: TSMC Location: Phoenix, AZ Job Posted Time: 2026-09-03 10:26:05 Employment Type: Contract Target Skills & Keywords : Foundry, Phoenix, Transformers About the job Required Skills: •Maintains a clean, orderly, and safe workplace •Read and interpret technical repair manuals, operating guides, schematics, wiring diagrams, shop drawings, and codebooks. •Performs basic mathematical calculations, including minor algebra, to calculate electrical loads, power factors, horsepower, etc. •Prepares and maintains records, reports, parts lists, and work orders. •Operates diagnostic test equipment and interprets results. •Utilizes a variety of tools associated with electrical distribution systems •Create and perform detailed procedures from simple equipment maintenance to entire system shutdowns including all operations and actions taken. Includes setup and operation of temporary power systems. •Perform routine and emergency service on state-of-the-art critical systems. Qualifications: •May spend extended hours working inside and outside in all weather conditions, and in awkward body positions which can cause physical discomfort and strain. •Required to regularly lift to 50 lbs. and to adjust heavy objects. •Foreseeably the position will meet sharp, hot, and cold equipment, and parts. •Must be medically qualified to wear a personal respirator. •Sensory demands include exposure to the smells associated with industrial chemical operations, exposure to the sounds associated with powered tools and industrial equipment. •Demonstrated capacity to safely climb ladders, and work at elevation from ladders, scaffolding, lifts, roofs, or platforms, and the ability to work in confined spaces.
