Hiring: Facilities Chemical Process Engineer Company: Jacobs Location: Boise, ID Job Posted Time: 2026-09-12 11:59:37 Employment Type: Full-time / Remote Target Skills & Keywords : AutoCAD About the job Experience: •1 year of practical application of chemical/mechanical facilities engineering experience, including ultrapure water, chemical distribution, gas distribution, process piping, exhaust, plumbing, waste drains, pumps, tank storage/design and related chemical/mechanical facilities systems •1 year of design project delivery processes experience •1 year of experience working with complex semiconductor manufacturing tools, either their manufacture, installation, or use in cleanrooms •1 year of field experience •At least 1 year of practical application of chemical/mechanical facilities engineering experience, including ultrapure water, chemical distribution, gas distribution, process piping, exhaust, plumbing, waste drains, pumps, tank storage/design and related chemical/mechanical facilities systems Required Skills: •Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited university •At least 1 year of practical application of chemical/mechanical facilities engineering experience, including ultrapure water, chemical distribution, gas distribution, process piping, exhaust, plumbing, waste drains, pumps, tank storage/design and related chemical/mechanical facilities systems •At least 1 year of design project delivery processes experience •Demonstrated capacity to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams •Strong verbal and written communication skills •Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize, and leadership experience •Ideally, you will also have •At least 1 year of experience working with complex semiconductor manufacturing tools, either their manufacture, installation, or use in cleanrooms Qualifications: •This is primarily a local on-site hybrid capable position in Boise, Idaho. •Position requires field visits and walks at an active client site in various stages of construction. Applicants must be able to walk long distances, sit and stand for extended periods, bend, stoop, twist, crawl, climb ladders, work on catwalks, work in small spaces, lift and carry up to 25lbs. •Applicant must complete background check, drug screen and be fully authorized to work for any client in the United States. Jacobs will not sponsor or continue a visa for this position. •The base salary range for this position is $80,000.00 to $120,000.00.
