Using computer facilities management software and your problem-solving skills, you’ll help develop creative solutions for mission-critical projects for the USAF. •In this role, you’ll closely impact the accuracy and quality of facility data by surveying and updating facility drawings, which will improve inventory data accuracy. With mentoring, exposure to challenging projects, and opportunities to learn new tools and skills, we focus on growing as a team to make the best solutions for our customers. •Analyze, formulate, and recommend facility standards, design, and space criteria and usage through space utilization studies and forecasts for clients in the USAF civil engineering community. •Implement analyses and solution development for facility planning and management of facility planning solutions. •Perform complex activities for the control and management of cost, schedule, risk, and resource optimization. •Prepare or review facilities estimates and site proposals for client review as to cost and feasibility. •Work closely with clients in the USAF civil engineering community to develop plans and programs responsive to present and anticipate portfolio and facility or individual space requirements. •Recommend planning, design, and construction standards or milestones. Qualifications: •Demonstrated capacity to learn new processes or procedures and apply them to existing CAD contract requirements •Demonstrated capacity to conduct facility surveys •Demonstrated capacity to use Microsoft Office software applications, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, SharePoint, and Access •Demonstrated capacity to travel up to 25% of the time •Demonstrated capacity to obtain a Secret clearance •Knowledge of DoD installations, missions, organizations, and facility types, including Category Codes •Knowledge of AFI 32-1015, Integrated Installation Planning, DAFI 32-9005, and Real Property Accountability and Reporting •Bachelor's degree in Planning, Engineering, or Geography •Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
