Required Skills: •Learn more about benefits at Google . •Lead and execute thorough and timely investigations and grievance resolution for complex, sensitive policy violations involving Google’s extended workforce, preparing and maintaining all associated data and documentation. •Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) by tracking the evolving internal/external risk landscape, anticipating high-risk issues, and escalating policy non-compliance to key stakeholders like xWS and Employment Legal. •Mitigate significant co-employment and xWS risks for Google by reviewing highly-flagged issues, formulating, and collaborating with xWS to implement corrective action recommendations. •Influence executive business leaders on strengthening awareness and compliance within their respective teams regarding co-employment risk and contingent workforce management best practices. •Leverage investigation data and insights to inform strategic risk mitigation initiatives, such as enhancing policy guidance, developing training, and driving program improvements across the Extended Workforce organization. Qualifications: •Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. •Expertise in establishing best practices for co-employment employment risk management, worker classification, and applying complex employment laws to global HR compliance and investigation issues. •Demonstrated capacity to establish domain expertise and persuasively influence executive business leaders to drive compliant structures and necessary change in contingent workforce engagements. •Demonstrated capacity to clearly convey complex investigation conclusions and business recommendations, both verbally and in writing. •The Extended Workforce Investigations (xWI) team is a dedicated pillar of Google's broader Employee Relations organization, which sits within People Operations.
