Hiring: Expert Product Owner (AI) Company: Nestlé Purina North America Location: St Louis, MO Job Posted Time: 2026-09-10 17:57:08 Employment Type: Full-time Target Skills & Keywords: Product Ownership, Product Management, AI/ML Solution Delivery, Data Products, Digital Transformation, Agile, Product Roadmap, Backlog Prioritization, Stakeholder Management, Responsible AI, Data Governance, AIOps, Model Performance Monitoring, Commercial Functions Experience: • 5+ years of experience in product ownership, product management, digital transformation, AI/ML solution delivery, data products, business analysis, or technology delivery • 3+ years of experience managing product roadmaps, backlogs, prioritization, and stakeholder communications in an Agile or hybrid delivery environment • 2+ years of experience partnering with technical teams such as AI engineers, data scientists, data/platform engineers, solution architects, or delivery leads • 1+ years of experience applying governance, compliance, privacy, security, risk management, or Responsible AI practices to digital, data, or AI solutions Required Skills: • Own and communicate the AI product vision, roadmap, and prioritized backlog aligned to commercial strategy, capacity, dependencies, and business outcomes • Partner with commercial business leaders to identify, prioritize, and deliver AI capabilities that improve decision-making, customer engagement, revenue growth, and productivity • Translate business problems into clear AI product goals, success metrics, decision outcomes, user stories, and measurable value hypotheses • Prioritize and sequence features, epics, enhancements, and technical enablers, balancing value, feasibility, risk, compliance, scalability, and sustainment needs • Lead Business Analysts in capturing requirements and testing criteria, and guide delivery teams by clarifying scope, validating acceptance criteria, and managing trade-offs • Partner with Responsible AI, data governance, architecture, privacy, and security teams to embed stage-gated Responsible AI and data standards across the product lifecycle • Define and maintain AI lifecycle artifacts and establish product monitoring expectations across model performance, observability, and value realization • Manage stakeholder communications including roadmap updates, milestones, delivery risks, governance status, adoption readiness, and sustainment handoffs Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Data/Analytics, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field • Experience supporting commercial functions such as Sales, Marketing, Customer Development, Consumer Insights, Revenue Management, Category Management, Customer Service, or eCommerce is preferred • Working knowledge of modern AI, AIOps, observability, model performance monitoring, evaluation, and lifecycle management concepts is preferred • Ability to translate business problems into AI use cases, success metrics, and technical requirements is preferred Compensation: • Salary: $125,000.00 to $175,000.00 per year • Bonus Eligibility: Yes • Performance-based incentives and a competitive total rewards package, including a 401k with company match, healthcare coverage, and a broad range of other benefits Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
