Hiring: Executive Director Company: THRIVE Center for Survivors of Torture Location: Murray, UT Job Posted Time: 2026-09-03 10:16:49 Employment Type: Contract Target Skills & Keywords : HIPAA About the job Required Skills: •The ED is expected to hold this work with the seriousness it deserves: THRIVE’s clients are survivors of severe trauma, and the organization’s effectiveness depends on services that are clinically sound, culturally responsive, and delivered by a team that is well supported. •The Executive Director’s responsibilities fall into six areas. •Board Partnership & Strategic Leadership •Serve as the Board’s primary staff partner: prepare meeting materials, support committee work, and provide the timely, accurate information on mission, finances, program outcomes, and risk that the Board needs to govern well. •Develop, maintain, and support a strong Board of Directors, including partnering on recruitment, orientation, and ongoing development of board members. •Ensure THRIVE has a long-range strategy that advances its mission, and that the organization makes consistent and timely progress toward it. •Develop organizational and financial plans with the Board and carry out the plans and policies it authorizes. •Ensure THRIVE carries out its mission with integrity and in conformity with the highest ethical standards in all respects.
