Your expertise in estimating and pricing will help drive successful project bids, ensuring the company’s continued growth and success in the market. •Review and analyze project plans, specifications (including drawings and schedules), and other relevant documents to gain a comprehensive understanding of the project's scope and requirements •Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for projects, encompassing labor, materials, equipment, subcontractor services, and other associated expenses •Utilize industry-standard software and tools (McCormick, BLUEBEAM) to generate estimates, ensuring precision and consistency in the estimation process •Account for factors such as market conditions, labor rates, and material costs •Partner cross-functionally with the bid team to develop comprehensive bid proposals, ensuring compliance with client requirements and specifications •Participate in bid meetings and presentations, providing insights into the estimation process and the rationale behind pricing decisions •Solicit and evaluate quotes from suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing for materials and services Qualifications: •Minimum of 5 years of experience working in electrical estimating •Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, construction management, or a related field/equivalent experience is preferred •Proficient in the Microsoft Suite •Proven experience as an electrical estimator in the construction industry, preferably with expertise in electrical systems and installations •Strong knowledge of electrical construction practices, materials, and methodologies •Operational familiarity with industry-standard estimating software and tools (McCormack, Bluebeam) •Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with keen attention to detail •Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with internal teams, clients, vendors, and subcontractors •Demonstrated capacity to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment •Operational familiarity with the local construction market and regulations is advantageous Compensation: •$85,000 - $115,000 / year •Competitive benefits and rewards package •Comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and 401K plan Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
