Required Skills: •Provide complete and accurate trade specific estimates. Assemble Bid Tab with estimates and vendor/sub quotes. Coordinate and clarify scope internally and externally. Identify value engineering opportunities and fill in minor design/score gaps. •Required proficiency in solid understanding of estimation process. •Material, labor, and equipment takeoffs. •Job site visits as needed •Identify and document difficult/ non-standard conditions. •Coordinate with Preconstruction Team to identify and fill scope gaps. •Clarify scope with General Contractor and Engineer. •Obtain quotes and coordinate/qualify scope with vendors and subcontractors. Qualifications: •Occasionally may need to reach, stoop, or kneel. •Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work. •Work outside, inside, and in dusty, noisy and hazardous areas. •Climb, balance, squat, kneel and crouch. •Work in all types of weather. •Proficient computer and typing skills. •Fully competent in all conventional aspects of subject matter or functional area. •3+ years of relevant experience. •College/university graduate or equivalent combination of skills and experience generally expected for specified technical roles.
