Required Skills: •To prepare accurate cost estimates for commercial construction projects during the pre-construction and bidding stages. •The Estimator will review plans and specifications, perform quantity takeoffs, obtain subcontractor and supplier pricing, identify potential risks, and support the project through final bid submission. •Prepare conceptual, schematic, design development, and hard bid estimates. •Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents. •Perform detailed quantity takeoffs and cost analysis. •Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier proposals. •Review scopes and identify gaps, risks, and constructability concerns. •Prepare bid packages, clarifications, alternates, and proposal documents. Qualifications: •Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered. •Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, pricing, and market conditions. •Demonstrated capacity to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents. •Strong experience with quantity takeoffs and project cost estimating. •Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. •Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office. •Strong subcontractor and supplier pricing experience. •In-depth knowledge of estimating strategies and project profitability. •Reliable transportation for meetings and site visits. •Stable employment history with progressive estimating experience.
