Location: Evansville, IN Job Posted Time: 2026-09-14 15:04:39 Target Skills & Keywords : Microsoft Office About the job Required Skills: •Assist with organizing and managing the bid process in conjunction with the Estimating Manager •Review and analyze bid documents to develop project labor, materials, and equipment requirements and costs •Travel to attend pre-bid meetings and site visits while establishing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, engineers, and consultants •Consult with suppliers and subcontractors during the bidding process to determine costs •Assist with the technical proposals and presentations •Assist with the preparation of post-bid work plans, procurement, scheduling, and cost control •Actively participate in production tracking and post-job analysis •Assist with maintaining date base of historical estimates and project information records Qualifications: •A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Construction Management is required •2 + years experience in heavy civil, mining, construction or a related area with good working knowledge of general engineering applications and construction practices •Previous experience with field engineering, estimating, project scheduling, and technical writing required •Strong computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office products, civil estimating software (preferably HCSS), and scheduling software (preferably Primavera P6). •Effective written communication, verbal communication, and problem-solving skills •Demonstrated capacity to perform a variety of tasks and manage those tasks concurrently within firm timelines •Demonstrated capacity to read and understand construction documents including contracts, specifications, and drawings •Attention to detail with an emphasis on time management and organizational skills •Demonstrated capacity to function effectively within a team atmosphere •Demonstrated capacity to travel overnight as needed on an infrequent basis Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
