Required Skills: •Estimating & Project Support •Review project plans, specifications, drawings, and bid documents to determine project scope and requirements. •Prepare complete and accurate cost estimates with minimal supervision. •Develop detailed labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor cost estimates. •Perform quantity takeoffs and material takeoffs from construction drawings and specifications. •Prepare project cost breakdowns and estimate summaries. •Solicit, evaluate, and incorporate vendor and subcontractor quotations into final estimates. •Coordinate estimate documentation and project information for turnover to project management upon project award. Qualifications: •Solid functional working knowledge of fire alarm, fire protection, and applicable industry codes and standards preferred. •Strong written and verbal communication skills. •Strong organizational and time management abilities. •Demonstrated capacity to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. •Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills. •Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. •Demonstrated capacity to work independently with minimal supervision. •Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and estimating-related software applications. •Demonstrated capacity to interact professionally with customers, vendors, subcontractors, and team members at all organizational levels.
