Hiring: ERS Assembly Technician Company: GM Performance Power Units Location: Concord, NC Job Posted Time: 2026-09-17 11:29:56 Employment Type: Hybrid Target Skills & Keywords : Assembly About the job Required Skills: •Assembly, servicing, and maintenance of prototype ERS hybrid powertrain components and assemblies, including high voltage battery, control electronics, e-motors and associated sub-systems. •Prepare ERS assemblies for development testing, dyno operations, and trackside deployment. •Accurately follow technical drawings, build specifications and assembly procedures, as well as conduct rigorous in-process and final quality checks. •Capture all component and assembly information within the ERP system to ensure full build and configuration traceability. •Identify and document quality or assembly-related issues, ensuring faults are logged through internal quality systems. Qualifications: •Hands-on capabilities for assembling electronics, live cells and mechanical small to medium parts. •Strong technical understanding of electronics and safe high-voltage assembly processes. •High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety. •Proficiency with ERP systems for work orders and inventory management. •Methodical, disciplined, and quality-focused approach to assembly work. •Strong teamwork and communication skills in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment. •Willingness to take ownership and accountability for build quality. •Adaptable and responsive to changing priorities and tight deadlines. •Demonstrated capacity to safely lift and move materials and components typically up to 25 lbs, with heavier items handled with assistance or appropriate equipment as needed. •Comfortable working on your feet and performing light physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout a standard shift while wearing required PPE.
