Required Skills: •The research analyst’s continuous and disciplined involvement in the research process is critical in this role. The analyst should be capable of having a voice in the portfolio construction process and ownership of investment performance. •Building and maintaining detailed financial models including proprietary forecasts and valuation-based screening capabilities •Analyzing fundamental performance of a variety of companies and industry sectors and sharing investment insights •Engaging with management teams, consultants, analysts and industry experts •Preparing research reports on companies owned or under consideration for purchase •Working with team members to gather corresponding data to be able to prepare, update, and maintain internal and external presentation materials Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree, 5+ years in buy-side or sell-side equity research or related field •Excellent quantitative, verbal, and written communication skills •Excellent ability to multi-task, work independently and with/across teams •Demonstrated successful investment track record •Established in 1907 as the family office for Annie and Henry Phipps, Bessemer Trust is in its seventh generation of ownership by the Phipps family.
