Hiring: Equipment Maintenance Supervisor (Night Shift) Company: Bloom Energy Location: Newark, DE Job Posted Time: 2026-09-10 11:41:44 Employment Type: On-site Target Skills & Keywords : Microsoft Office, PLC About the job Experience: •4-6 years of relevant experience in facilities/maintenance management/building operations maintenance with at least 3 years of hands on supervisory/leadership experience. •Hands on practical knowledge of the technical aspects production and facilities equipment •In depth knowledge of systems, tools, and procedures utilized in equipment maintenance •Knowledge of OSHA and other regulations, specifically those pertaining to work-place safety, occupational hazards, electrical safety procedures (NFPA 70E) •Computer systems knowledge including proficiency with MS Office programs Required Skills: •Create and maintain a highly technical, fast-paced Equipment Maintenance Team •Create a strategy for Corrective, Preventative, and Predictive Maintenance in support of BMCD Manufacturing Operations •Advise on new equipment required to enable business growth •Evaluates systems/machines and determines maintenance or repairs that need to be performed •Work in collaboration with Engineering Leadership and Facilities Management to plan work priorities, obtain necessary permissions, and assess resources to needed to complete tasks •Prioritize work assignments and delegate tasks based on team members’ skills and experience •Create a paradigm for tracking relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) (e.g. safety, cost, task completion time, etc.) and have this information available to key stakeholders (i.e. dashboards) •Ensure maintenance and repair work is completed safely, efficiently and on budget Qualifications: •Demonstrated capacity to stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours per shift •Occasionally lift/carry up to 25–50 lbs •Use hands and fingers to operate machinery controls and computers throughout the shift •Visual acuity sufficient for product inspection and reading digital/printed materials •Hearing ability to detect alarms and communicate effectively with staff •Demonstrated capacity to perform essential tasks with or without reasonable accommodation •Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in required areas (safety glasses, safety-toed boots). •High school diploma or equivalency required; Associate or Bachelor’s Degree preferred Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
