Work within application workgroups and across interdisciplinary workgroups to accomplish these goals as a team. •End-User Support: Provide support to clinical and administrative users, addressing system issues, answering questions, and guiding users on best practices. Collaborate with trainers in the design and development of training programs to support implemented workflows. •Workflow Analysis: Work with stakeholders to analyze and document current workflows, identifying opportunities for optimization within assigned systems. •System Testing and Validation: Coordinate and perform system testing for new features, upgrades, and patches, ensuring functionality and minimizing disruption to operations. Follow established guidelines for testing and change control. •Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation, including system configurations, workflow diagrams, and user guides. •Compliance and Security: Ensure that all assigned systems comply with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA) and organizational policies, particularly regarding data security and privacy. •System Enhancements: Collaborate with IT and clinical teams to identify, prioritize, and implement system enhancements that improve patient care and efficiency. •Vendor Collaboration: Work with vendors to manage system updates, troubleshoot issues, and implement new functionalities. Qualifications: •Ability and interest to learn the software and increase their knowledge over time. •Clinical and/or operational experience preferred based on application •Must obtain appropriate Epic certification within 3 months of hire •Exposure To Chemicals: N/A Video Display Terminals: Extreme •Blood and Body Fluids: None •TB or Airborne Pathogens: The only risk is that associated with contact with the general public. •Sensory Requirements (speech, Vision, Smell, Hearing, Touch) •Speech: Training/presentations, telephone communication, facilitating meetings. •Vision: Read computer screens and printouts, memos, communications, documentation, and literature. •Smell: Sensitivity and recognition of odors derived from various cleaning processes, odors generated from malfunctioning equipment.
