Hiring: EPC Cost Estimator III Company: TPI Global Solutions Location: Jackson, MI Job Posted Time: 2026-09-15 12:12:31 Employment Type: Remote Target Skills & Keywords : Financial Planning, Microsoft Excel, Project Management, SAP About the job Required Skills: •Develop and maintain conceptual and detailed cost estimates for electrical utility and substation projects. •Prepare estimates for projects ranging from approximately $10K to billion-dollar, multi-phase programs. •Support estimating activities for HVD and LVD electrical systems and substation projects. •Collaborate extensively with Engineering, Planning, and Project Management teams. •Participate in project and department meetings and communicate estimate assumptions, risks, and findings. •Support long-term financial planning and forecasting, including projects planned through 2040. •Maintain and improve cost templates, estimating databases, data structures, and related tools. •Analyze historical and current cost data to improve estimating accuracy. Qualifications: •Strong experience in cost estimating, preferably within construction, EPC, electrical utility, or substation projects. •Strong knowledge of electrical construction/project costs and estimating methodologies. •Advanced or strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel. •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. •Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills. •Demonstrated capacity to work independently and act as a self-starter. •Strong communication and collaboration skills. •Demonstrated capacity to attend meetings and remain available and responsive from 9:00 AM–3:00 PM EST. •Substation, transmission, distribution, or other electrical infrastructure estimating experience. •Exposure to Power BI and/or Power Apps.
