Required Skills: •Keep buildings in clean and orderly condition. Perform heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish. Duties may include performing routine maintenance activities, notifying management of need for repairs. •During execution of performance requirements, shall take precautions to protect all government property including furniture, walls, baseboards, and other surfaces. •Report all accidents to your supervisor immediately. •Keep all equipment clean and free from build/up wax and debris. •Think and work safely and use wet floor signs at all times. •Secure vehicles and equipment at the end of each shift. •Assigned work will be performed as scheduled. •Reposition all items to original position when moved to facilitate cleaning operations when performing all cleaning operations. Qualifications: •High school graduate or GED equivalent. •Must be able to drive and possess a valid driver's license. •Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. •Minimum of 1 year experience of floor cleaning, 1 year experience using a floor machine, high speed buffing machine and an extraction carpet shampoo machine. •Shift work is required (day shift & night shift) must be flexible. •All Environmental Specialists will load and unload their own equipment. •Good organizational and planning skills. •Demonstrated capacity to pay close attention to detail. •Demonstrated capacity to work with computers. •Demonstrated capacity to work independently but follow specific detailed instructions.
