Hiring: Environmental Services Director - Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center (CMC) Company: Aramark Location: Charlotte, NC Job Posted Time: 2026-09-14 12:11:12 Target Skills & Keywords : Regulatory Compliance About the job Required Skills: •To join our team at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center (CMC) •This leader will oversee a large frontline workforce and leadership team, drive accountability through operational metrics and performance data, and work closely with hospital and Aramark leadership to achieve departmental, financial, and client objectives. •Plans, controls and directs all cleaning, sanitizing and waste removal functions within a healthcare facility to meet operating and financial goals, client objectives and customer needs •Overall ownership and accountability of operational management and financial performance of the unit •Model key leadership behaviors and ensure the highest levels of safety, quality and service excellence for employees, clients and consumers •Coach employees by creating a shared understanding about what needs to be achieved and how it is to be achieved •Identify and engage top talent and develop team members to their fullest potential within the organization •Plan and lead team management meetings Qualifications: •Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent relevant leadership experience may be considered. •Significant Environmental Services leadership experience in a healthcare or acute-care hospital environment strongly preferred. •Demonstrated experience leading large, complex Environmental Services operations and sizable frontline teams. •In-depth knowledge of healthcare environmental services standards, infection prevention, sanitation, safety, and regulatory compliance. •Demonstrated experience utilizing operational metrics, KPIs, quality data, and analytics to drive performance and continuous improvement. •Strong financial acumen, including experience with budgeting, forecasting, labor management, productivity, and cost controls. •Proven ability to establish and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships in a demanding healthcare environment. •Strong leadership, communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. •Demonstrated capacity to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, highly visible acute-care environment. •Rooted in service and united by our purpose, we strive to do great things for each other, our partners, our communities, and our planet.
