This role partners with employees, leaders, and contractors to support EHS programs, conduct risk assessments, deliver training, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. •Support and maintain EHS programs, policies, and procedures •Conduct safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments •Investigate incidents, near misses, and workplace hazards •Lead corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives •Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and other applicable regulations •Support hazardous waste, chemical management, and environmental programs •Deliver employee safety training and new hire EHS orientation Qualifications: •Environmental Health and Safety Specialist (EHS Specialist) •Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills •Demonstrated capacity to work independently with minimal supervision •Self-starter with a proactive, can-do attitude •Strong communication and relationship-building skills •Demonstrated capacity to manage multiple priorities and deadlines •Proficiency with Microsoft Office and EHS management systems •RCRA Hazardous Waste Management Compensation: •$75,000 - $90,000 / year •Flexible work environment (work from home / hybrid options) Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
