Required Skills: •This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time. •Conduct regular safety inspections and floor walkthroughs to proactively identify hazards, unsafe conditions, and at-risk behaviors; issue corrective actions and track to closure. •Lead incident and near-miss investigations using root cause analysis; develop and implement corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence. •Maintain plant-level EHS documentation, including OSHA 300/301 logs, SDS library (HazCom/GHS), written programs, SOPs, and work instructions in accordance with regulatory and corporate requirements. •Manage plant-level permit and safety programs, including lockout/tagout (LOTO), confined space entry, hot work, and machine guarding; ensure programs are current, employees are trained, and requirements are actively enforced on the production floor. •Monitor federal, state, and local regulatory changes (OSHA 29 CFR 1910, EPA, and applicable state requirements) and update plant programs and documentation to maintain compliance. •Develop and deliver plant-level EHS training programs covering required topics (e.g., LOTO, hazard communication, emergency response, PPE, forklift safety, ergonomics) for new hires and ongoing workforce education. •Partner cross-functionally with subject matter experts to ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of training content.
