Required Skills: •Design and maintain company policies adhering to local, state, and federal environmental, health, and safety regulations. Keep abreast of any changes to environmental, health, and safety laws and regulations that impact the company, and implement company policies accordingly. •Develop, implement, and maintain facility-wide safety programs, policies, and procedures. •Conduct risk assessments, job hazard analyses (JHAs), and machine‑specific safety evaluations. •Lead incident investigations, root‑cause analysis, and corrective action planning. •Oversee lockout/tagout (LOTO), machine guarding, confined space, hot work, and fall‑protection programs. •Manage safety training for all employees, including new‑hire orientation and annual refreshers. •Complete and file on a timely basis all federal, state, and local environmental reports and chemical inventory requests, and submit payment for all required fees on a timely basis. •Lead and oversee identifying chemical hazards and hazardous workplace conditions. Maintain a current inventory and Material Safety Data Sheet for all chemical hazards on the property. Take corrective action to eliminate, contain, or minimize the hazards, or coordinate the removal of physical, biological, and chemical hazards.
