Required Skills: •Maintain detailed records and reports related to EHS and compliance activities. •Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis for any safety-related issues. •Prepare and submit regular EHS reports to senior management and regulatory agencies as required. •Employee will be working both in the office and the field environment. Employee will travel to work site locations where the employee is expected to dress in appropriate manner to deal with client and customers. Travel will be necessary to meet the requirements for the position. •Strong leadership and team management skills. •Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. •Demonstrated capacity to work collaboratively across departments. •Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and safety management software. Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree and 5-7 years of Environmental Health & Safety experience or a Master’s degree and 7 years of EHS experience within a manufacturing, aerospace, or defense environment preferred. •Demonstrated capacity to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain Special Program Access •Previous DoD, Military or Aerospace facilities experience. •In-depth knowledge of OSHA, EPA, NFPA, and other relevant regulations. •Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) or Occupational Health and Safety Technician (OHST) preferred. •Hazardous Materials Handling Certification (or equivalent) is a plus. •5-7 years of Environmental Health & Safety experience or a Master’s degree and 7 years of EHS experience within a manufacturing, aerospace, or defense environment preferred. •7 years of Environmental Health & Safety experience or a Master’s degree and 7 years of EHS experience within a manufacturing, aerospace, or defense environment preferred.
