Required Skills: •Industrial Safety Training and Compliance: Develop and support Industrial Safety programs with improvements for organizational safety training, while ensuring compliance with all environmental, health and safety regulations and standards. Conduct new employee safety orientation and contractor safety training. •Audits, Inspections, and Reporting: Lead safety audits and inspections following routine processes and detailed instructions. Review safety and environmental reports, compile, analyze, and interpret data, reporting on department metrics as requested . •EHS Coordination & Communication: Coordinate the work of outside contractors and monitor their performance and adherence to safety guidelines. Qualifications: •Solid understanding of federal, state, and local environmental health and safety regulations. •General industry industrial safety experience required. •Proficiency in conducting safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments. •Strong data analysis and reporting skills. •Demonstrated capacity to coordinate and lead safety training programs. •OSHA certifications (LOTO, Confined Space, Fall Protection, Electrical Safety, Respiratory Protection, etc. highly preferred) •Staff hired for the NCI Central Repository Program must be eligible to obtain an NIH Personal Identity Verification (PIV) Card by submitting a Declaration of Federal Employment form within 60 days (about 2 months) of employment.
