Ensure all required company and regulatory reporting requirements are submitted on time. •Lead and oversee assisting management personnel in the investigations of plant incidents and complaints regarding unsafe working conditions and practices. Help identify an immediate solution, the root cause, and track corrective actions to completion. •Implement continuous improvement plans to ensure success on Corporate Safety, Health and Environmental audits or assessments. Interface with regulatory bodies (OSHA, EPA, State/Local Regulators). •Conduct routine safety observations to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies, company environmental, health, and safety policies, procedures, and practices. •Lead/manage environmental program with help from an environmental consultant and represent management during EHS Meetings along with the other plant personnel. •Lead and oversee ensuring plant atmosphere and hygiene compliance. Keep abreast of any safety and environmental law or regulation changes that impact the organization. •Train employees on required EHS topics in accordance with regulatory bodies Qualifications: •You make sound decisions, even in the absence of complete information.
