Hiring: Environmental Health and Safety Manager Company: Brightstar Lottery Location: Lakeland, FL Job Posted Time: 2026-09-11 13:19:55 Employment Type: On-site Target Skills & Keywords : Regulatory Compliance About the job Experience: •7 years of progressive EHS experience within manufacturing, printing, packaging, or similar industrial environments. •3 years of leadership or management experience in an EHS function. •Minimum 7 years of progressive EHS experience within manufacturing, printing, packaging, or similar industrial environments. •At least 3 years of leadership or management experience in an EHS function. Required Skills: •Establish and maintain site-wide EHS programs, standards, and management systems aligned with OSHA, EPA, FDEP, and company requirements. •Conduct audits, inspections, and hazard assessments while tracking corrective actions through completion. •Facilitate incident investigations, root cause analyses, and trend reporting to identify and mitigate risk. •Lead environmental compliance efforts, including permitting, regulatory reporting, recordkeeping, and agency communications. •Develop and manage EHS training strategies, compliance matrices, and role-based learning programs. •Partner with operations, maintenance, engineering, quality, and security teams to support safe and compliant manufacturing processes. •Direct emergency response preparedness, Emergency Response Team programs, drills, and incident command activities. •Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: •Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Engineering, or a related field. •Demonstrated experience managing ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems and ISO 45001 Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems. •Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, FDEP, environmental permitting, compliance reporting, and regulatory requirements. •Proven ability to influence, coach, and develop leaders without direct operational authority. •Demonstrated capacity to read, write, and communicate effectively in English is required •What Will Make You Stand Out •Master's degree in a related discipline. •Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification. •Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) certification. •Associate Safety Professional (ASP) certification.
