Required Skills: •Conduct stormwater compliance services associated with California Industrial General Permit (IGP), Construction General Permit (CGP), Commercial, Industrial and Institutional (CII) permits, municipal NPDES permits, and related water quality regulatory programs. •Perform site inspections, compliance audits, stormwater monitoring, sampling events, and wet-weather monitoring activities. •Prepare technical documents including Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs), Water Pollution Control Programs (WPCPs), Exceedance Response Action Plans (ERAPs), Monitoring Implementation Plans (MIPs), Sampling and Analysis Plans (SAPs), Quality Assurance Project Plans (QAPPs), and regulatory compliance reports. •Evaluate monitoring data and develop practical compliance strategies, corrective actions, and pollution prevention recommendations. •Actively facilitate and support design and implementation of stormwater Best Management Practices (BMPs) and treatment control measures. •Assist municipal, industrial, commercial, and construction clients with permit interpretation, compliance implementation, and regulatory agency coordination. •Contribute to project planning, scheduling, budgeting, proposal preparation, and business development initiatives. •Partner cross-functionally with project managers, technical experts, and clients to successfully deliver high-quality projects. Qualifications: •Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited university in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, Water Resources, or a related discipline. •Minimum of 4 years of experience supporting stormwater compliance, environmental permitting, water quality programs, or related environmental consulting services. •In-depth knowledge of the California Industrial General Permit, Construction General Permit, Region 9 Commercial, Industrial and Institutional Permit, and/or municipal NPDES permit programs. •Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook. •Strong written and verbal communication skills, including technical report writing and client interaction. •Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. •Valid California driver's license and acceptable driving record. •QISP, QSD, QSP, CPESC, CPSWQ, ENV SP, or California Professional Engineer (PE) registration. •Proposal preparation, client management, and project coordination experience. •Candidates who do not currently possess professional certifications but have relevant experience and the ability to obtain certifications within a reasonable timeframe are encouraged to apply.
