Hiring: Environmental Compliance Specialist I Company: Alliance Technical Group Location: Pensacola, FL Job Posted Time: 2026-09-11 10:33:01 Employment Type: Remote About the job Experience: •Basic familiarity of environmental regulations affecting complex industrial facilities such as Clean Air Act (CAA), Clean Water Act (CWA), Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) and/or Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA). •1-3 years of relevant professional experience performing environmental technical work within a consulting, industry, or regulatory setting Required Skills: •This is a remote role that travels regularly between Mobile, AL and Pensacola, FL (and surrounding areas) •Execute on assigned environmental projects as directed •Perform environmental fieldwork, inspections, monitoring, or sampling activities as required by assigned projects •Prepare, review, and contribute to environmental reports, technical memoranda, site specific compliance plans, or permit documentation in accordance with applicable regulations and project requirements •Support environmental compliance, permitting, assessment, or monitoring activities •Collect, compile, and analyze environmental data to support project deliverables and decision-making •Maintain accurate project documentation, field logs, and records to support audits, regulatory reviews, or internal quality control •Coordinate with project managers, technical staff, and clients to support effective project execution Qualifications: •Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) •Strong technical writing, documentation, and data interpretation skills •Solid functional working knowledge of environmental regulations applicable to assigned projects •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills •High attention to detail and accuracy •Effective verbal and written communication skills •Demonstrated capacity to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet project deadlines •Demonstrated capacity to work independently with moderate supervision and as part of a project team •Professional judgment and discretion in technical, regulatory, and client interactions •Bachelor’s or master’s degree in environmental science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field Compensation: •$60,000 - $80,000 / year •Flexible work environment (work from home / hybrid options) Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
