Hiring: Entry Level Generator Technician - Odessa Company: ERock Location: Odessa, TX Job Posted Time: 2026-09-15 11:35:09 Employment Type: Full-time / Remote About the job Experience: •1 Years Mechanical and/or Electrical •At least 1 Years Mechanical and/or Electrical Required Skills: •Perform skilled repairs of Volvo Penta Diesel Engines (16 L), Power Solutions International (21.9 L) and Marathon generator ends, as well as various voltage control and synchronizing equipment. •Be proficient at learning and utilizing manufacturer specific software to troubleshoot and diagnose engine and control system problems. •Facilitate technical support and liaison with equipment manufacturers. •Perform scheduled, preventive, or predictive generator maintenance tasks. •Perform troubleshooting and repair tasks. •Perform periodic inspections to identify maintenance needs. •Work in potentially confined areas of high heat and humidity, and cold. •Follow company process and procedures for verbal/written communications. Qualifications: •Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently to transport materials, equipment, or personnel to designated locations, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. •Successfully pass Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check to ensure compliance with company standards and safe driving practices. •Attention to Detail- Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attention to detail. •Computer skills- Uses computers, software applications, databases and automated systems to accomplish work. •Flexibility-Technicians have a rotating on call schedule.
